Arlie began the game playing the middle, between The First Five and The Sloppy Seconds. However, as the game progressed he was forced to show his cards and ultimately sided with The Sloppy Seconds. After Arlie helped The Sloppy Seconds evict all the major threats on the other side of the house, Neda Kalantar began to grow weary of Arlie because of his smart gameplay. Neda urged current Head of HouseholdJon Pardy to backdoor him. Jon went through with Neda’s plan and named Arlie the replacement nominee. Despite Allison White using the Secret Power of Veto, Arlie was evicted by a vote of 5-0, placing 8th, and becoming the first member of the jury.
Arlie is the second person in Big Brother to be the first juror and not be evicted in 9th place, post-Big Brother 3 (prior to this there was no jury house) as he finished in 8th place. The first was Candice Stewart, who finished 11th.
This was due to a twist where Canada was elected the 7th jury member.
Arlie and Heather are the only Big Brother Canada 2 jurors to always vote with the majority.
