Ivette Corredero was the runner-up of Big Brother 6, receiving 3 out of 7 jury votes to win. Ivette was a member of The Friendship Alliance, the rivals of the popular Sovereign Six Alliance. Her secret partner in the house was Beau Beasley. She and Beau were the last partners left in the game.
Ivette was later one of the candidates eligible to be voted into Big Brother All-Stars. Ivette, however, did not make it back into the game.
Ivette was the first and, so far, remains the only houseguest in Big Brother history to cast a tiebreaker vote at the Final Five, then cast the sole vote to evict at the Final Four, and then win the final Head of Household competition and cast the sole vote to evict at the Final Three.
Ivette was the first openly gay houseguest to reach the Final Two in Big Brother.
She would later be followed by eventual winner Andy Herren.
Ivette was also the first Hispanic-American houseguest to reach the Final Two.
