Jean Jordan Biography

Retrieved from
Born in Roanoke, Virginia on August 2, 1973, Jordan is a student majoring in sociology and filmmaking at Minneapolis University of Minnesota.

Jordan has had some interesting jobs. She once campaigned door-to-door for an environmental agency and worked as an exotic dancer for two years to pay for her education. She back-packed through Central and South America and considers finishing the Ironman triathalon her greatest accomplishment.

Serious-minded and disciplined, Jordan's principal interests include training for and participating in triathlons, studying homeopathy and alternative medicine, creative writing and reading. As books go, though, the one that earns the place of honor on her shelf is Webster's Dictionary.

A film buff, Jordan confesses she has too many favorites to mention, but admits a preference for documentaries and films with social commentary.

When not exploring the crisp, cool lakes of Minnesota, Jordan opts for the warmer waters of the tropics. Shes not particular about the destination, "just as long as there are palm trees and I can scuba dive."
