Shai Chai became famous during the 7th season of Big Brother at the beginning of 2016, and soon became one of the most talked about tenants of all seasons. He was given the power to put in public dismissal throughout the season. He called the corner "the whole truth in the face" that became a brand. His conduct at home was controversial and made him hugely popular, and a whole army of "live gift army" followed him throughout the program.
